All game viewing activities (morning and afternoon drives - open vehicles with no roof, walking safaris, tracking big game on foot, bird watching)

Transfer Options

Flights: CPT HDS or CPT JHB HDS with Airlink or SA Express
Road transfer from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport to Makumu Private Game Lodge (about 90 minutes) - see rates above
Self-drive from Johannesburg (about 6 hours)

*Please note: Airport transfers are approximately 1.5 hours from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport to Makumu Private Game Lodge.

Family Friendly 

All ages welcome when booking exclusive use of the Lodge 
FIT bookings: children aged 8+ years welcome (full adult rate applies)

Payment 

Individual bookings:
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total accommodation amount is required to confirm a provisional reservation. Deposit is required upon confirmation of reservation.
The balance/full payment is required 45 days prior to arrival 
Any bookings made within 45 days prior to arrival are liable for full payment to cover cancellation fees 

Exclusive-use of whole lodge bookings:
A 25% non-refundable deposit of the total accommodation amount is required to confirm a provisional reservation. Deposit is required upon confirmation of reservation.
The balance/full payment is required 60 days prior to arrival
Any bookings made within 60 days prior to arrival are liable for full payment to cover cancellation fees 

Cancellation Policy 

FIT:
45 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of full amount  

Exclusive-use of whole lodge bookings: 
90 - 61 days prior to arrival: 50% of full amount 
60 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of full amount
